A simpler approach to Junior ISA charges

Sometimes, these charges may change. This could be to reflect an increase in the costs in running the fund, or in providing account services to you. The Important Information Booklet for each fund details why charges may change, and what that means for you.

There may be other charges or expenses incurred by Junior ISA funds due to dealing costs, taxes and more. While not paid by you directly, these expenses and charges are deducted directly from the fund, reducing its value.

Although we only charge a flat rate of 1.5%, other providers may include extra charges in their Junior ISAs which you must pay. Here are a few we’d recommend looking out for:

• Dividend reinvestment fees
• Buying charges
• Selling charges
• Transfer charges

• Portfolio transaction costs

These depend on which Junior ISA provider you choose, so make sure you check with your provider before investing to make sure there’s no surprise costs, and always seek professional advice if you’re unsure.
